Following the government easing of lockdown restrictions effective 4th July, here is revised information about a few simple steps to help contain continuing Covid-19 risks as far as possible and at the same time allow you to have an enjoyable day with us. Many thanks for your continuing support.
Please follow the government advice concerning Covid-19 at all times. It can be viewed here –
It is a condition of track day entry that all customers follow the current government Covid-19 advice.
Covid-19 Special Arrangements
Entry to the circuit – This is via the paddock entrance (Blue Gate) off the B4039. A gate list will be in operation and only people on the list will be admitted by the security staff on the gate. For people arriving together in one car, the driver’s name is sufficient. If any members of your party are arriving separately then please provide us with a list of names in good time so we can add them to the gate list. This needs to include your support staff if applicable.
It is possible that non-invasive temperature checks will still be in place at the paddock entrance although they may well have been dropped. These are carried out by paramedic staff. Customers with an elevated temperature will not be admitted.
The gate will be locked for most of the day and may not be continuously staffed so we would request that you avoid leaving the circuit as far as possible.
Additional drivers will be accepted. If they are not from the same household as the main driver we ask that they abide by the current social distancing requirement and that the car should be disinfected between drivers.
Passengers are also accepted, but for the time being should be from the same household as the person driving on circuit because of the social distancing need.
Indemnity form – the booking confirmation email includes an indemnity form as an attachment. Please print it off and complete it so you only have to hand it in at signing on. If this is not possible blank forms will be available at the circuit. Please request one from the admin desk when you arrive. If you do need to complete the indemnity form on the day then please remember to bring a pen with you as we won’t have communal pens available.
Queuing – when you are queuing to sign on please continue to keep 2m apart in the queue – there will be plenty of room.
Safety Briefing – we will be conducting the safety briefing in the Strawford Centre garage with the main doors open for ventilation. We will conduct more than one briefing to allow more space between customers.
The safety briefing will cover the essentials but will be shorter and not as detailed as usual. Therefore, please read the information pack provided as an attachment to the booking confirmation email and also the track day supplementary regulations in force for the day also included in the confirmation email.
Wrist Bands – for security reasons our staff normally attach wrist bands to customer wrists. We’ll be waiving that for the time being and customers will be handed wrist bands to attach themselves. When queuing for briefing bands after the safety briefing, please remember to socially distance.
Tuition – Unfortunately we’ve had to suspend tuition for the moment.
Helmet hire will not be available. If you require a helmet you might like to consider purchasing an inexpensive one for the day. Inexpensive motorcycle helmets are readily available from places like Amazon or Halfords and could be used on future track days of course.
Café Bar-H will be open but there may be limitations on numbers of people allowed inside and also options available. Takeaway options including hot and cold drinks will be available to picnic in the paddock. A one-way system will be in operation. It will be payment by card only, please.
Camping is currently not permitted by the circuit.
Access to the public areas normally accessible on our track days will in all probability be closed off. Access to the pit lane is not permitted on our track days.
